Stinky old property with rooms...

Liked: Friendly staff at check in
Disliked: First room I was given smelled like dog pee. In fact, my dog was very intrigued by it and showed me exactly where. So then I was given a room on the first floor. It stank from cigarette smoke so badly that I had to open the window with freezing temps outside. I called the front desk asking them not to charge me for smoking because someone before me did. They weren’t surprised and didn’t seem to care.The property is tired. The bathrooms are beaten up- paint chunks missing from drywall, a big hole in the shower wall, and old worn doors and fixtures.

Despite its shortcomings I’d stay...

Liked: Pet units on ground floor are convenient for taking them outside. Hotel is located adjacent to a nature park with a walking trail. Large water areas with gazebos and a boardwalk crossing the water. Wildlife sightings.
Disliked: Ground floor hallway had a sewer smell twice during my one night stay. Source unknown. Advised desk clerk who wrote it down. Automatic door closures cause the doors to slam very hard making loud noise waking me up. Blame that on the other occupants, too. Free WiFi supposed to be secure but it was not. At least not in my room.

Liked: I liked that it was clean and in a good area. Really love that I had a lot of eating places to choose from. Plus wally world wasn't far
