Staff was friendly and helpful. Accommodation was nice.

The room was very nice - clean with a great view overlooking the city at night. For the price, I was greatly pleased.

Disappointing

Liked: I loved the friendly the staff was, the breakfast was good, the staff didn't get overwhemled with the amount of people who was there. I loved the pool area. And the room and hallways were clean and nice to move around in .
Disliked: I had a running toliet my entire stay, this was report to the front desk, however it was not taking care of. We also had a sink that ran water on the countertop. And the snow removal was not the best to get my car out at the end of my stay. I have stayred here in the past and this time was much different.

We were room 415Radiator made us jump out of bed 3am.i had to reset it , then eventually shut it down.Last, we tried to sleep in due to a late night and then the radiator... We were awoken by powertools, loud drilling at 9 am. Sadly, if the hotel informed us that they were remodeling and started at 9 am, i may have been more patient The next time we have events at Mass Mutual we will stay at Sheraton or MGM.

Liked: Room was clean, beds were comfortable, staff were helpful, close to train station.
Disliked: The walls of the rooms are so thin, you can hear the conversations in the next room. The breakfast is just about edible, but the knives and forks are flimsy plastic and you have polystyrene plates and bowls, which are also so weak that my porridge almost spilled out. I understand that maybe it's an economic necessity, but for me, I think it was too much. I can't help thinking about all the rubbish that was thrown away after breakfast each day.

Liked: I came there to attend a show at the Big E in West Springfield. This hotel was conveniently located for that purpose. Also, it was barely two blocks away from a local Catholic Church where I attended Sunday Mass. The breakfast that was included was quite adequate, consisting of eggs, bacon or sausage patties, waffles, cold cereal, and toast. Furthermore, the staff working the breakfast insured that hot trays and dispensers did not remain empty if they ran out.
Disliked: The property overall was showing its age although there were signs posted that it was being renovated. The bed was comfortable and the wall thermostat did properly control the radiator to turn out the requested heat. However, not all the lamps functioned properly. Electric sockets were located in the base of the table lamps but I had trouble finding one that worked to recharge my iPad and iPhone. Also, the bathroom was extremely small and the toilet bowl was so close to the ground, people with back or leg issues could have a real problem getting up from it.Lastly, there are two parking areas, one in front and one in the back. The front was always crowded to capacity while the back sat largely empty. I did not see any signage that informed guests that there was a back lot and knowing that could have been helpful. I only found it when I looked out my window which happened to overlook the back lot.
