La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Seattle Downtown, Seattle

Liked: My sister and I had side-by-side suites. They were very spacious and very-well appointed.
Disliked: Some early-morning construction was somewhat disturbing but we later learned that ear plugs were available at the front desk.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Clean and quiet hotel. Within walking distance to virtually everything.

Liked: Location was ideal.
Disliked: Water temperature fluctuated.

We arrived mid day on Amtrak and went to see if the hotel desk could hold our bags until check in time - no problem. At that time the gentleman at the desk advised we could check back in an hour or two and our room should be ready. We weren't expecting or asking for an early check in, but when we came back after a few hours we were treated very rudely, told that we should call to see if the room was ready for check instead of bothering them in person. We were quite taken aback by that! That said, it was very busy with lots of folks checking in for the Seahawks game. Otherwise everything was great! So close to liquor store, Whole Foods, great restaurants; walkable to Pioneer Square, Pike Market; quick taxi to Paramount Theatre. Front desk didn't bother to ask how our stay was upon check out, which we found odd for a business with lots of competition close by. I guess it isn't part of their shtick at check out. Although we had a good stay we would probably consider some other accommodation next time we travel to Seattle.

Liked: Location awesome; bed very comfortable; nice roomy suite.
Disliked: Encountered some rudeness from front desk staff.

Liked: Location. Close to downtown & whole foods marketThe double shower head was WONDERFUL!!
Disliked: Water pressure in bathroom sink literally DRIBBLED OUT. UNACCEPTABLE!

Overall, price is fair but...

Liked: Location is good, size is good, affordable parking and very basic breakfast, price is fair.
Disliked: The breakfast consists solely of frozen items. I'm disappointed. The carpet smells bad, the bathtub is stained, and everything is extremely outdated. There's a lot of noise from the trash truck outside starting at 5 am.

First choice for families on...

Liked: The food options were great, mostly grab & go which is perfect for myself and my family with the exception of fit waffles. There were keto, vegetarian options in the form of frozen eggwhiches or burritos, frozen meat lover bowls & ready to go hard boiled eggs. Lots of fruit and snack bars, as a keto diet person and as a family, we were very happy with the selection. The staff was phenomenal. I will say a parking fee may be unpleasant for some but with my placard, payment was not necessary, thank you for that! I will absolutely stay here again when we visit Seattle. I truly appreciate the price and location but best of all the staff.
Disliked: Parking was a little difficult.

Liked: Kind staff, clean comfortable room, downtown location, option for luggage hold, functional vending machines with decent options
Disliked: Very tiny fitness room. It works in a pinch but if you’re not in there alone, it’s too crowded. Also, a hot breakfast is advertised, but it was frozen microwave breakfast you buy at the grocery store. Still, though, it was better than some places who have nothing but cheap packaged pastries.
