Not a great stay, by...

Disliked: I booked 5 nights and was told by Booking.com that the final price that I would be charged would be $402.63. At check-in, I was billed $402.63. However, about 4 days later, I was billed an additional $150 for some unknown reason(a deposit?). A few days later, I was refunded @ $52 for some reason, NOT the $150 that I should have been refunded. Now, to the stay... I arrived and found that the room had no washcloths in the bathroom. I had to call the front desk and go there to retrieve them. The whole hotel smelled like paint since there was remodeling being done. The pool was closed. The exercise room was closed.

Liked: The location
Disliked: They are booking people into rooms that have moldy refrigerators. Then right outside our room window was piles of discarded furniture, pictures and cardboardThey had no dumpster to place these discarded items in. Our outside key entry door was broken, which allowed anyone to walk in off the street.

Pleasant

Liked: The breakfast was excellent. There were numerous items to select from and the foods were hot and delicious.
Disliked: We were placed on the second floor where they were remodeling. Paint cans were in the hallway and the smell of paint was strong.

Trying to improve, but a...

Liked: It appears that the hotel is renovating and trying to improve the property.
Disliked: The curtains in the room had stains on them. The comforters had stains. The view out the window was a pile of old dressers. The bathroom floor was dirty and appeared that it hadn’t been swept. The refrigerator needs to be replaced. The shelves were rusting and it had a bad smell. The end door into the building would not lock; anyone could come into the hotel. Staff was never at the desk. Had to ring the bell for them to come from a room in the back.

Disliked: Blood stains on comforter, level we were placed on was under construction, hot tub didn’t work, and pricey for the conditions

Our stay was pleasant, but...

Liked: Location is good for access to Harding University. Hotel entry and lobby area have been recently up dated to a fresh and inviting area. Our room had not been updated and needs attention.
Disliked: Room colors were drab and in general the room and bath are showing their age, wear and tear.Breakfast was minimal and difficult to find anything positive to say about it.
