We had a great stay at this La Quinta! The staff was amazing and the front desk guy was so helpful and always cheerful. The breakfast could have been a little better but overall it was very enjoyable. Bed was comfortable. I feel like prices were fair. The maids were also very helpful and provided us with new towels and things when asked. You do have to ask them to clean your room but they will when asked. Overall this was a great stay. Location is convenient if you are attending something at Frost Bank Center although not safe to walk along the highway so you would still have to drive or uber.

Not great but it worked...

Liked: The location was probably the best part. The lobby was nice and clean. Getting to the room was the disappointment. They could use a deep cleaning. All the walls were so nasty. splatters & stains all over them. The door was janky. You had to lift it up and push it, to close it. The remote didn’t work for the tv. They could stand to purchase new linens. The lint balls all over the pillow cases made it very uncomfortable to sleep on.

Aside from that one incident,...

Liked: It was close to the venue my friend and I were going to and close to some placing we decided to visit
Disliked: Only one thing. While my friend and I were gone and we entered our room. There was someone in our room, a man who said he was with maintenance. I understand when areas needed to be maintained, I thought it was for a leak that was happening in the hall and got to our room. But he said our room was on a list and that the light wasn’t working. How did they know that light didn’t work? We hadn’t turned it on nor called the front desk regarding it? Was it a former customer that stayed in that room? It was just very uncomfortable and slightly scary, especially since it was just me and my friend (2 females) in a hotel we have never been to.

Liked: Easy check in and location. Staff helped with an issue even at 3am.
Disliked: The pillow cases were cheap and the pillows were not comfortable. The bath towels had hair even tho we hadn’t used them yet so I hope they were cleaned before hand.

Short and sweet trip.

Liked: Our stay was good. Easy checking in and checking out. We didn't have any issues. Breakfast was nice and they had great coffee and waffles.
