Liked: I really like the staff. Very personable and helpful and so nice. The room was very clean and I appreciate that. Whatever I needed they were there. Breakfast was hotel standard but they had fruit and bagels, waffles and juice. Breakfast staff was quick to replenish when running low. I can’t say enough about the staff here. They made me feel welcome and safe.
Disliked: Nothing. I had a great experience.

Liked: The staff was very nice.
Disliked: While the bed seemed clean, the floor of the room was dirty and there was a dead beetle of some kind on the floor behind the chair in the corner of the room.

Liked: I was able to park near an exit that made it convenient to unload/get to my vehicle. The breakfast seemed fairly typical for properties that offer continental-style breakfasts. The property is away from the nearest main road and sits on a hill, so I'm sure the noise is reduced as a result.
Disliked: Each person I encountered at the front desk had such a thick Indian accent that it was very difficult for me to understand them in normal conversation. I see this in a lot of locations now, but it is not helpful, regardless of the frequency. When I am doing business or making a transaction, I should be able to complete it with clarity. An employee who interacts with every guest who walks through the door should be able to speak English at a level (and without such a thick accent) that insures there are no barriers to communication. This should be the standard not only in Rome, GA, but throughout the United States. My wake-up call came at a time approximately 1/2 hour after I requested it. Since this was done with an automated system, I'm sure the clock governing these calls was not set correctly. Such a simple problem should be easy to correct. If ignored, this situation could cause major problems for a guest who simply needs to receive a wake-up call on time. The second floor had no ice machine, so anyone with a room on that floor had to look on another floor for ice. An air conditioning unit was dropping condensation very near the exit doorway I used to access the parking lot. Anyone entering or exiting this door had to be wary of dodging drips in the process. This has gone on so long that the condensate water has stained the building and sidewalk near that entrance.
