Nice place

Liked: Pet friendly.Nice beds and pillows.
Disliked: Room doors close VERY loudly.Slamming closed.⁷Housekeepers were speaking very loudly in the halls etc.Broken ice machines on 2 floors.

Disliked: Tub clogged facilities the man fixed it was friendly. The bedding smelled. The couch had stains on it. There are water stains on the ceiling of the main floor. The pool had stains in it. We stayed here in the past and it appears it's under new management. People at front desk were very nice.

A nice place to stay...

Liked: The location is perfect and easy to get to restaurants and downtown Rochester. Also, there are restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The staff is friendly. The bed was comfortable.
Disliked: An extra end table at bed side would be nice. And there is no closet in the room.

Very poor

Liked: Location was too far out from Mayo. Parking wasn’t great either.
Disliked: This hotel does not have a shuttle to Mayo like it indicates online. That was a big disservice for us and staff was not even apologetic. Breakfast was horrible- no coffee as told by a staff member who brought their own to work stating they never have coffee. Also, no hot food, no yogurts or milk, and the little they did have a lady sneezed on while talking to a staff member and didn’t cover her mouth- so needless to say breakfast was horrible. Pool was closed. Dogs were noisy during stay in other people’s rooms. Front staff was unprofessional wearing jeans and tshirts and such and parking their motorcycle right in front of the building. Front lobby furniture is stained and dirty. Sadly this did not live up to my expectations and made the trip a lot more difficult.

Overall my stay was disappointing.

Disliked: I have always stayed at LaQuinta but unfortunately this will be my last time there. I love the location, but the facility is in need of updating. There has always been a nice vending area but that was completely empty this time. My bathroom door would not latch closed so had I been traveling with kids they could have come in at any time. The dresser drawers stayed open and would not shut. The mini refrigerator had no dial to make it cooler and it was NOT cool at all. I checked in on a Wednesday and checked out on Monday and housekeeping did not set foot in my room once, no clean towels, no trash removal. Just overall did not have my usual experience.
