We stayed 4 nights and...

Liked: The location was right by the airport.
Disliked: The lack of communication that the rooms will not be cleaned unless you vacate the room before 8 am. The breakfast was only a muffin and juice and coffee with old apples. We had a remodeled room but the room had ants and broken glass on the floor. We stayed 4 nights and the room was not cleaned once, no garbage taken out, and we got one towel for 3 people to share. Our room key never worked, every time we returned at night to sleep we had to stop by the front desk to get another key and that’s quite difficult with two tired kids. I believe there was a homeless person living in the parking lot. I do not recommend staying here.

Check the Rating! Avoid until...

Liked: The guest in front of me got a room that was not yet cleaned - at 6:30 pm! I was given a room that already had another guest in it. I was given a remodeled room very quickly. That room was decently updated - and a relief because the room they gave me in error was OLD and worn - I would not have stayed in that room. The fully remodeled room was fine with minor faults such as not enough lighting, the the towel smelled funny (- they were clean, but perhaps the smell of an old washer or dryer that's outlived it's usefulness, or maybe too many towels in one load?) and the sheets and pillow cases seemed too wrinkled to have been freshly changed. (Maybe i'm just being paranoid after they tried to give somebody a room that wasn't cleaned ... but who knows where they're cutting corners? It was OK - i wore pajamas. ) I'm glad I only had to spend 9 hours here before my flight.They are in the midst of a remodel. The whole complex outside is dirty and depressing- there was garbage blowing all over the place, like somebody tipped over a dumpster. And I don't mean construction debris; personal hygiene items, cigarette butts, plastic bottles - everywhere - it's just not conducive to a nice atmosphere. I didn't leave my room for dinner for fear that somebody else might be assigned to my room in error and walk in, so I ordered delivery and bolted the door. La Quinta only had one person behind the front desk and a long line of people to check in. For as many rooms as they have and at the rate they turn over at an airport hotel, they should have more staff to serve customers. Despite the situation, the person at the front desk was handling guests with the utmost courtesy and professionalism. I suspect that there was some confusion with La Quinta's booking system that caused guests to be assigned to rooms that were not ready or occupied. I have never had to write a review this negative about any accommodation.

Will never stay there again.

Liked: The only thing I liked was the nice lady at the front desk. She was friendly and had to deal with the issues at this place. It was pretty cold while I was there and they had a good heater. They had extra blankets already in the room
Disliked: It was dirty, it said there was breakfast and all they had was apples, tiny muffin and coffee. It looks rundown, the shower had a used bar soap. The tub was filthy, the lamps in the room were not working. The towels smelled dirty. It was very loud, I could hear everything from the room right behind me. There was a door connected to that room. I didn't feel safe or comfortable. I don't think anyone came to check on the lamps that were out.
