Adequate, but not up to...

Liked: The first room we were given was not properly cleaned with assorted trash in plain view on the bedroom floor and dried urine on the porcelain part of the toilet (not the seat). The staff was apologetic and provided us with a cleaner room down the corridor but the experience left us wondering what else was not properly cleaned - sheets, towels, other surfaces?

Absolutely worth the value

Liked: Convenient for interstate travel stop. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very pleasant. There was also plenty of grassy space for our dogs to sniff around.
Disliked: Our room was very cramped and dated. We had requested an updated room upon booking but the property indicated they never received our request and that they didn’t have any available. We were also disappointed to learn of a $25 pet fee per pet per night. We had 2 dogs and that added an unexpected $50 cost to the night. Booking.com’s reservation page was very specific that there were no pet fees which is what prompted us to try out the hotel. As a result, I don’t think the value was as good as it could have been and will probably opt for the Tru by Hilton property next door on our next trip through.
