I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The only good things about this hotel were the staff and walking distance to Central Park.

Liked: The staff and the location. The location was within walking distance to the Metropolitan Opera House.
Disliked: There were cockroaches in our room - disgusting!

Liked: Spending time in NYC with my son!
Disliked: Very small room; elevator so slow we didn't bother; air conditioning was a loud window unit. Occasionally a loud noise would startle me which was from a pipe in the bathroom - not sure what that was all about! And, don't bother going for breakfast, that was a joke! The room is small, hot, with no seating and didn't have anyone refilling things.

I would not recommend this place to a friend. It was dirty and creepy.

Liked: Close to concert venue.
Disliked: Small; not as clean as I would have hoped.

I came to see a concert in Central Park and this hotel was very close and absolutely fits it's purpose. It was not fancy but I was not looking for that anyway.

Liked: Very close to Central Park; clean; nice view from the 14th floor; breakfast OK; nice staff.
Disliked: Rooms and hallways are a bit cramped.

Liked: The room had everything i would have needed and nothing more, the bathroom was so cleaned and the bath water was so relifing.. the view I got was amazing it was showing me nearly New York, and also the TV had all what I would have needed to entertain me while being in my room… so about the breakfast meal, I think what I expected by that value… the food was delicious and fresh.At the end i do recommend staying in that hotel because of its excellent quality and how affordable it was.

Great hotel for tourists that...

Liked: Great location in the Upper West Side near Central Park and subway stations.
Disliked: Rooms are a bit small, but real estate is a premium in the UWS.

worst laquinta i have ever...

Liked: there was bed bugs in our room! we stayed only 1 night out of the 3 then slept in our car
Disliked: cleaner rooms! no ned bugs

Totally overpriced

Liked: The bed was good.
Disliked: Rooms need serious renovation. Bathroom needs a complete make-over. Stains on the chair, carpet dirty, needed a towel in front of the window to block the cold air from outside.And all that for $ 350 per night. No thank you.
