This hotel has bed bugs. It was poorly cleaned.

Disliked: We had to get rooms at another hotel as we saw bed bugs at this hotel.

Unhealthy

Liked: The stench in the hallway perminated the room and made it difficult to sleep. This property was filthly and not fit to stay at! Being as unfit to stay at made me concerned about my safety, who would willing stay here?I hold LaQuinta and Booking.com responsible for not making sure this hotel was fit to stay at before advertising on your web sites.
Disliked: It CAN NOT be healthy to stay there with the mold smell and filth.

This place is a dump....

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: It was a dump. Carpets were filthy, the curtains were ripped, and the black out curtains had holes in them. The night clerk wasn’t at the desk and we waited 10 minutes and then we called the number before he showed up. We checked out two days early because the place was filthy and they refused to refund the other two days. We were there for a funeral and this just made it more stressful. Horrid place. We should get our money back.

Disappointing for the price.

Liked: My room was clean, my bed was comfortable, and this hotel was very quiet. The front desk staff were very courteous and professional. The lobby was clean and bright. Plenty of parking, and the hotel felt safe.
Disliked: Unfortunately, the hotel halls I saw on the first floor were run down in the condition of paint, carpet, and low lighting. There was a sopping-wet carpet along a four or five foot stretch of the hall and a funky smell in some portions of the path I took from the front of the hotel back to my room on the first floor and also to the south exit. The outdoor area near the south-side back entrance had a minor litter problem. I can see that some efforts for refurbishment were underway. So I don't think the price I paid reflected the value for money I expected; overpriced by $10 or $20 in my opinion. (I did not try the breakfast.)

Stay away

Liked: What did We like (Nothing). Moving from Ca. to IL. Made booking on booking.com for 9-18-24 ck-in ck-out 9-19-24. Paid infill on website. Arrived in Moline IL a day early. Went to La Quinta Inn - paid for the night of 9-17-24 ck-in. Already had reservation for 9-18-24. When going to the room the Hallway carpet was very dirty/old. The room had vinyl plank flooring -room looked ok but, the ceiling was coming apart water damage from the room above?. My bother went to the front desk the employee came to the room and gave my bother a choice of two different rooms to ck out. the first room still had the old dirty carpet in it. So, he went to the second room. That room had the vinyl flooring, and the room looked ok. I was asleep it was about 1:00 am in the morning and my bother turned on the light and woke me up. He had been bitten in 3 places by bed buds. He found them in his bed an killed them and went to the person at the front desk and had the person come to the room. I request a refund for that night and wanted them to cancel the next night. No refund was given for that night, and no cancellation was given for the next night do to I made the reservation online with booking .com. I Called my credit card co. that night around 1:30 am and told them what happen, and the credit card co. filed a depute on the charges. Went to different hotel that night. Stay away From La Quinta Inn Moline IL .
