Liked: Nice location-- right next to I 60.
Disliked: The lady running breakfast was EXTREMELY RUDE. Julia would not listen to guests and would not hand us the remote, or even change the channel. On Thursday, Feb. 20, she left the TV channel on Sex & the City-- while there were children eating breakfast! She would NOT give us the remote control. She does not listen. (The show may not have started until 10 am, but it remained on for 15 or 20 minutes while she cleaned up.) On Friday, Feb. 21, Julia picked a "soccer match" for us to watch. I approached her calmly and asked, "Hey we have A LOT of baseball fans here-- no one really likes soccer, could we switch it to baseball or at least SportsCenter?" Her reply was, "No, it's fine; it's sports." I said, "Ha, no it's soccer. They flop around and are crybabies. Could I please change the channel? We have a few teenage boys here and they LOVE baseball." She said, "Nope, it's sports. It's fine...it's fine." Like she was using a Jedi mind trick. Saturday morning, Julia has it on a FROZEN IMAGE of a soccer player-- falling down, I'm sure. I ask, "Hey the screen is FROZEN, but the audio is working-- may I please change the channel?" She repeats her little phrase, "No, it's sports, it's fine, it's fine." I said, "No, it's not fine, it's boring." I asked the manager behind the desk and she said, "I don't know where the remote it." I said, "Yeah, Julia hides it." Julia says, "It's fine, it's fine, the screen is just frozen." I ask the MANAGER A SECOND TIME--"Can you two ladies just hand me the remote? I can fix it...I'm a TV repairman." Strangely, the audio was still coming through, so it was still receiving a signal. Julia would NOT give anyone the remote and she pissed us off (and many other baseball fans there for Spring Training each morning).

Very good

Liked: The room was good, and actually had a surprising breakfast available in the morning. Most places are cereal, fruit, and muffins, but this location had both sausage and a waffle maker available for guests.
Disliked: Our room faced the freeway and unfortunately that was a tad noisy, but not much the hotel can do about that.

Hotel was ok but the...

Disliked: I was charged for ada room with a roll in shower and they said that they did not have anything available so I had a room with a regular tub and when my husband went down to at least get a shower chair they didn't have any! So we had to go to Walmart and BUY ONE! This is the third time I have booked through you and this is the third time that I have not got what I paid for or was not even able to stay (we had to go to Motel 6 and stay). I will not be using booking.com any more because the hotels do not work with you.

hotel needs major improvement, cleaning...

Liked: Room was unclean and hotel was having plumbing issues . The room smells sewage. The sink was plugged and the bathroom wall and ceiling had black mold .
Disliked: Staff and manager should have been more accommodating since the hotel had plumbing issues .

Property needs updating badly

Liked: Auto opening main door
Disliked: The noise from the highway through the outdated windows was LOUD 24/7! The rooms have not been updated since the 80s. Bathroom vanity came to our knees.
