Worst hotel I have stayed...

Disliked: I booked a 2 night stay at the La Quinta Inn by Wyndham in Livermore. My fiancé discovered a bed bug infestation in our room a little after 10pm the first night. We had 3 young sleeping children and lots of luggage so it was not ideal to try to find another hotel in the middle of the night. I brought it to the attention of the front desk and they had 1 room left. My fiancé and I spent 30 minutes examining the new room for bed bugs and did not find any although the room was filthy but had to make work for the night. I spoke with the hotel personnel about receiving a refund so we can check out and locate to a different hotel but they directed me to booking.com. I have tried to reach out to booking customer service but have not received any feedback. I’m hopeful that we can get refunded as this has been a major inconvenience and we are still worried about potential bug bites we may have received or that they may have got into our luggage and will have to do a thorough check and cleaning. We saw at least 15 bed bugs ranging in size up to 1/2” or so long. One of the employees (Michael) at the front desk was extremely rude and unprofessional so I will be leaving my first ever negative review and speaking with corporate of the hotel as well. We lost a lot of sleep over this during our stay. I have plenty of pictures and videos to provide if you have an email I can send them to. -Dillon
