Good enough if you need...
Disliked: I chose La Quinta for it's location and experience with La Quinta's in the past. When I got off the road after driving for 7 hours with a pet that wouldn't settle down, the front desk person expeditiously checked me in. When she took my card, she told me the total would be $201 and started running my card for me. I believed I had already paid for the room and to wait while I looked up the receipt, but she pushed the charge through anyway and said her manager would fix it later if it was a double charge. I'm on government orders moving across the country, so I have to account for every penny on that card. She ignored my request to to be patient while I figured out if I had already paid, but told me she gave me an upgraded room because they were all out of the room I requested. What good is an upgraded room if I paid double the cost?????? The room that I received was right next to a room with a family (it sounded like 3 kids - very loud). Thankfully the bed was far from the shared wall with the family. The room was okay. There were visible stains on the furniture (especially the pillows on the couch). I think the staff needs to be more cognizant of guests that have been on the road all day and that are traveling with pets.

Wasn’t good at all.
Liked: The room was clean
Disliked: We were called back from the casino,because people were complaining about our dogs. It wasn’t our dogs doing the barking. We had been back to our room for over an hour and they called again complaining about our dogs and they hadn’t barked at all. They even threatened to call the police. I will never stay at that location again. We have stayed in many La Quinta’s’ and never had any problems.
