I will definitely let people know how great my stay was at La Quinta - the room, the service, and the breakfast was delicious. The people there were super nice too!

Disliked: We were given a first floor room and the entire hallway reeked of animal urine. Not like a one time accident. The carpet is so badly stained and the stench is so bad, this has to be an ongoing issue. There was even an industrial fan there to dry it out. Really awful! The room looked ok until i grabbed the ice bucket and there was a giant wad of human hair that had obviously been purposely placed there. I was completed grossed out at that point and over it. Do not recommend!

Liked: I bring my own pillow and slept well. Bed was comfortable but has a metal base which was noisy with any movement.
Disliked: We were at the farthest end of the hallway away from the front desk. Each night upon returning to the motel, we were locked out of the facility and out of our room. Had to go to the desk and get the keys programmed again. 3 nights we discovered an outside door was not locked, so we got in the door, but not our room. so the facility was not secured. We did report this to the desk. The first night the TV did not work. Staff was very helpful and came and fixed the connection. One morning there was no hot water so could not shower. We have stayed there before and the only issue at that time was a barking dog. The breakfast this time did not have as many options as before. No fresh fruit. No muffins or pastries. Quite an expensive stay.
