Liked: La Quinta has always provided quality for moderate pricing. We stayed at this location twice this holiday. The first stay was without incidents or complications but the second stay we had a couple of hiccups that I addressed in my review of those dates. This first round was typical of what we are used to with La Quinta.
Disliked: It wasn’t a situation of not liking it but we did find it odd that we were in this huge room that only contained a bed, nightstands, and dresser that the tv sat on. One whole side of the room was completely void of furniture. Would have been nice to have a chair or sofa and there was plenty of room for them - they just were not there. So any sitting happened on the bed. Sometimes you just want to sit in a chair to watch tv….or to put on your shoes…or to drape your clothes on. It was just odd that this huge room was so sparsely furnished.

Liked: Room size and cleanliness. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Disliked: The chair at the desk needs to removed and replaced with one that isn’t representative of garage sale purchase. The bathroom sink was slow to drain. Reported this to the front desk as we checked out. I would have thought the cleaning staff would have noted it while cleaning because it was really ridiculously slow to drain. Not sure how they cleaned the sink. The noise level on the second floor could have been better. Guests with dogs - barking was an issue but worse than that were folks with kids running up and down the hall and screaming. One couple - the man was extremely loud talking several times. We did not report this to anyone however because it certainly was not the fault of the staff or the motel - people can be rude and inconsiderate. There was some confusion as to the dates we had booked for our stay. I had booked from 12/26 to 12/29. On the 28th we were informed by cleaning staff that we were to be checking out that day. I went to the front desk and showed them my confirmation not only from bookings.com but also from the property for our stay to be through the 29th (checking out on the 29th). They adjusted and allowed the stay for one more night but it was a bit frustrating to have to deal with that. Especially when even after getting things resolved, we returned from lunch only to find that our card keys were no longer active and we had to go back down to have them reactivated. It all ended on an ok situation but wanted to mention it here for both Bookings.com and the motel to be aware.
