Good

The room and Hotel is...

Liked: A good breakfast, typical of breakfast included with stay. Nice & clean I'm happy with the Motel and we will be staying at La Quinta again in our travels.
Disliked: A disturbance during breakfast from a veteran having issues. NOT ANY FAULT OF THE HOTEL. The poor guy needed mental help team from the City or Fire Department to try to assist him.This does not reflect bad on the facility, the staff worked very hard to resolve the situation. Police came and I'm unclear what happened to the man.

Superb

Disliked: After receiving my room key and trying it the door I had to go back to the front desk where the front desk associate told me "it probably works, you just need to jiggle it like this". He also said it happens all the time. In addition, there was no mention of having a $75 incidental hold put on my credit card at the time of the checking in. Would have been nice to have the discussion at the time I checked in for both of these issues.

Disliked: Cleanliness was good in common area, fitness room bedroom

Pleasant

Liked: Room was large, clean, modern and well lit.
Disliked: The mattresses and the pillows in our room were not comfortable. The mattress tends to sink down low in the middle (and I'm only 114 pounds) and the pillows are hard and uncomfortable. Definitely did not deliver on your promise of "waking you up on the bright side."

Liked: The room was clean and looked like it had been recently painted or updated.
Disliked: The walls were paper thin. We could hear our neighbor snoring. The bathroom doors were unique (like French doors) but horribly hung and were hard to close/open. The breakfast was the same old instant eggs and waffle maker with tons of waste plastic. The coffee was horrible.

Second visit and would choose...

Liked: Good sized room. Even had a microwave which was helpful.
Disliked: Would be good if it had an onsite restaurant and/or bar.
