Worst Hotel everFalse advertisement,

Liked: The staff was friendly and helpful
Disliked: We were never told the hotel is used as a homeless shelter the rooms smelt, we had to ask for a different room, breakfast was included, but there was never any breakfast left as the other residents eat it and stocked up for the day, when we asked for the breakfast they said they had no more, so we had to go out and buy breakfast, This was false advertising I intend to claim compensation.

Hotel room and facility was...

Liked: Room was clean and furnished well. Comfortable arm chair. Bed was good
Disliked: Breakfast did not have much selection and several items were missing.

This place has gradually done...

Liked: Good location. Check in/out fast. Comfortable beds.
Disliked: There was an outdoor seating area below our 2nd floor window. People were sitting there smoking (incl. marijuana) - the smell came right into our room. Very noisy, too. We complained to the front desk (it was after 10PM) and they took care of it. There is a sign saying no one should smoke there, but these people ignored it and no one from the hotel enforced it.The breakfast was OK but nothing special.Plastic door cards tend to go bad easily (yes, we know not to put them near wallet items, magnets, etc).Fan in bathroom deafening with no separate switch to shut it off.TV didn't work at first, as the HDMI cable was plugged into the wrong port. Nobody checked beforehand.Room wasn't made up after our first night. Didn't know you had to request it. We did on the second day and they did a nice job.

Disliked: broken elevator, the entire hotel looks old and needs updating....or even just a paint job

Unfortunately, I would not make...

Liked: It was convenient to my destination in Garden City.
Disliked: It was a little expensive for the property. The elevator was still broken after Weeks because a friend of mine who stayed there again with me this week said that it was broke the last time. it was chipping of paint everywhere and just didn’t feel spiffy for $325 a night. The room was kind of barren. it didn’t seem to be any touch to it to make you feel a little warmer. The breakfast was mediocre.

My biggest thing is cleanliness....

Liked: My biggest thing is cleanliness. I can be a picky guest so when I say I had an excellent stay means everything was top notch.
Disliked: Nothing I didn’t like.
