Passable

Of all places, La Quinta!
Liked: The floors were very dusty, only one bath towel, so many hand towels/wash cloths, the plumbing very poor (toilet took forever to flush/ bath tub took forever to drain), and worst case, the tub faucet was about to fall off

Overall room for improvement but...
Liked: Reasonably priced for a week's stay, I booked a low budget hotel because I wasnt spending much time in the hotel which was the case. Good location and.resonable price.
Disliked: Had to move room from 238 to 236 as the TV was not working. Rooms are pretty basic.Bath tub very low not suitable to use the bath as too dirty, so used the shower.Breakfast was very basic just toast and coffee and dried cereal this was literally it on one of the days so I stopped going down. Would be good to have some more choice. The area outside smelled like sewage on a few days, not sure if this was the drains? Overall room for improvement but functional.

A Complete Disgrace – Avoid...
Liked: Great customer service from Front Desk.
Disliked: I’ve stayed at multiple La Quinta locations, and this one was, without a doubt, the worst I’ve ever experienced. The room was a complete nightmare—so far below La Quinta’s usual standards that I can’t believe they allow it to operate under the brand name. The moment I walked in, I was hit with the overwhelming stench of must and stale cigarette smoke, despite this supposedly being a non-smoking room. The air felt thick and unclean, like the room hadn’t been properly aired out or deep-cleaned in years. The floors were heavily stained, sticky in some areas, and clearly hadn’t been mopped properly. The walls had mystery stains, and the single lounge chair was worn down to the point where I was afraid to touch anything. Then came the real horror—the closet had roach droppings inside, a clear sign that this place has a pest problem. It was disgusting and unacceptable. The bathroom wasn’t any better: the tub was covered in grime and deep stains, the tub walls were caked with old soap scum, and the water coming from the showerhead smelled like it came from a stagnant pond. I didn’t even feel comfortable walking barefoot on the floor, so guess how disgusted I felt using the tub.To make matters worse, the bed linens had a questionable smell, and I couldn’t tell if they had actually been changed or just poorly laundered. The pillows were lumpy, and the mattress felt like it had been there since the early 2000s. Dust and grime had accumulated in the corners of the room, on the baseboards, and even on the so-called "clean" surfaces. This El Paso location is a complete embarrassment to the La Quinta brand. It’s clear that management or ownership (or both) does not care about cleanliness, maintenance, or the basic comfort of their guests. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this dump—you’ll thank yourself later.
