We came into the hotel and we were greeted and upon entering they asked our name and immediately looked up the reservation and welcomed us again. The lobby was clean and there were people watching TV. She explained where our room was and was kind enough to tell us we could drive around to park and the elevator would be real close when we opened the door and then our room would be close once the elevator opened - great. The elevator was a bit vegas style - kinda gold brushed but OK. We laughed at it.

Liked: The front people and the directions that were given, plus breakfast.

Liked: Specifically got hotel bc of pool. No pool hours not on line. Pool closed. Beds were very hard, pillows old and clumpy. Bathroom dirty. Staff was ok but not friendly. Breakfast was not good, a lot of open spots... just waffles, cold eggs & greasy sausage.

Liked: You can tell this is an older hotel, so everything shows wear and tear. My biggest complaint is that every single towel had hair on it from previous guests, which tells me there are no quality inspections for cleanliness. For the price, I guess it was okay. I wouldn't stay here again.

A great place to stop...

Liked: Good, hot breakfast, clean room, friendly service - what more can you ask? Have stayed here twice now en route to/from visiting family up north. Will gladly stay there again. Highly recommended!
Disliked: Location is a bit far from the interstate highway, but well worth the trip and the extra time. No other complaints - our stay was short but excellent.
