Passable
Liked: Overall it was a good place. The only issue is I wish the pillows were different very flat and no fluff.

Disliked: Constant smell of raw sewage in the hallway and waiting room area needs to be attended to spewing trying to enjoy breakfast and that lingering smell bad for business

La Quinta DIA not bad...
Liked: I had a wonderful one-night stay, and two people really stood out. First, Redae, the driver, exceeded my expectations. As soon as I came out of the airport and headed to the shuttle stop, he was the first to approach me with a friendly and helpful attitude, asking if I needed assistance. It turned out I was looking for his shuttle, which was such a nice surprise! Everything felt effortless from there. The next standout was Renee, who was working the morning shift. She had golden hair and was absolutely terrific her service made the start of my day even better. Thank you both for making my stay so memorable!
Disliked: I had a mostly great experience during my one-night stay, but I have a few suggestions to improve it further. First, when advertising free Wi-Fi, it would be nice if staff asked if guests need assistance setting it up; after a long flight of nearly 10 hours, I would’ve really appreciated that. A welcome beverage like hot chocolate, tea, or even just a glass of water would have been a lovely touch, especially after coming in from the cold. That small gesture can make a big difference. Also, it was late when I checked in, and I was simply given directions to my room, which felt a bit impersonal. The check-in experience could use a little more warmth.Breakfast was fine, just the usual, but nothing too special. I don’t want to complain, but I do have a few tips that could help improve the experience. I’m used to the level of service at places like the Four Seasons, so I’d suggest adding two complimentary bottles of water in the room, as well as a quieter heater. And one more thing I found it odd that the hotel is cashless. I really wanted to tip the staff, but I didn't want to offend anyone by offering cash.Overall, for a layover hotel, I would recommend it to others. With a few improvements, it could easily earn more stars.

Great staff. Good airport shuttle....
Liked: The staff were fantastic. Polite and responsive. We had an issue with our room key and they quickly and professionally resolved the issue. They clearly cared about our experience. The facility and our room was very clean given what they have to work with. Good shuttle and location relative to the airport. The room layout was spacious and bright. Fairly new carpet did a lot to distract from other unsightly maintenance needs.
Disliked: La Quinta was a comfortable place to stay in the 1990s and early 2000s when the buildings were new. This particular one, I suspect like many others has lacked necessary care to maintain the facility. Carpet looked fresh as did linens and TV. Beyond that there were lots and lots of minor maintenance issues that added up for a an uncomfortable experience. I’m disappointed corporate management has let the building go without investing in necessary routing maintenance. Here are a few examples:-Our first door lock didn’t work and they had to move us to another room. -Mold in the caulking on the shower, slimy curtain and shower head falling out of the wall. - Scuff marks everywhere in the halls from luggage; lots of scuffed paint in heavy use areas like the hard wear in the bathroom doors. -Many doors to rooms have clearly shifted where you can see light coming in through cracks even when they’re locked closed. Our stay was comfortable!
Liked: Friendly staff, seamless check-in process, close to food, gas, and highway access. The property was clean and noise free!
