Terrible internet. unsympathetic staff

Disliked: No internet available in the room. Could not do work as required unless I brought my laptop down to the lobby and worked there, BUT before that was even figured out...it took multiple times calling the desk staff (often didn't answer) My husband and I came down to the desk 3 times because no one answered the phone- even though there were two front desk staff for a not very busy hotel. Staff were aware that I needed to do work. They called the manager who eventually semi- resolved to the point that I could work from the lobby. This took hours to resolve for a very short stay. I have to work from the lobby and deal with this issue and no compensation/discount and not much of an apology at all. I also got "our phones and laptop work!" like it was my issue??? They even questioned my laptop which I have used in hotels for 4 years. HELLO you are right on top of the router and being paid to be there. I am actually PAYING TO BE HERE. I am at different hotel now and my laptop is working just fine in my room here, so there. It always does until your dump.
