Beautiful grounds and quiet atmosphere,...

Liked: We loved the location and the view from our balcony. We stayed at the hotel for two weeks and would have liked a more diverse breakfast menu. La Posada is close to many wonderful restaurants. We would definitely stay again.

I have stayed in better

Liked: Entrance and lobby
Disliked: Looks old and worn out, exterior gives a false presentation of the room quality. Entrance to the rooms had narrow and broken walkway. Premium breakfast was powered eggs and sugar based cereal and yogurts offered no plain option. Not premium - very basic.

Bed was comfy, but I...

Liked: The breakfast was fine. The staff did a good job. The bed in our room was very comfy.
Disliked: We arrived and there was a live cockroach near our door/closet area. Our bathroom sink leaked when using the hot water. Our TV kept tiling or freezing. That happened every night - horrible reception. Our room faced the street, which was very noisy. It's like the bathroom window and the front door were not sealed. You could hear everything, including the carts that would roll up and down the hallway, very noisy.

A great place to start...

Liked: Liked: Overall location and view of the landscape from the room, breakfast area, and pool area. Breakfast and outdoor area to sit for breakfast. Food at breakfast, which was of a good quality and variety. Pool area, which was amazing, with lounge chairs and plenty of space to soak in the sun. Balcony in room, which was a nice place to sit in the morning to wake up and enjoy the sunshine. Helpful and friendly staff at front desk, breakfast area, and housekeeping.
Disliked: Didn't like: The room felt a little small (we had two queen beds for the 4 of us). The bathroom needed attention with a toilet needing replacement, a sink needing repair, and a towel rack needing repair.

Very small rooms, low value...

Liked: This is what I wrote to the property: No water was provided, and no one came to fix the towel rack or provide new towels as they had fallen down. Further microwave is not working as well. Daughter had to take her lunch to be warmed up at the reception.Staff not apologetic or concerned.Customer service was deplorable, at the bar and at breakfast as only one attendant and on 2nd day was preparing breakfast as had run out at 8:00am. Left without having breakfast, no mimosas served on any of the days. Chipped wash basin sink , constantly water dispensing in toilet bowl and very small shower.I was expecting a great product and service but am completely disappointed and deceived by the photos online.

We love the pool and...

Liked: Beautiful grounds and pool. The rooms are clean and nicely set up.
Disliked: The bathrooms are eccentric. We could hear everything from our neighbor in the adjoining room.

My stay was wonderful

Liked: The breakfast was delicious. Scrabble eggs and potatoes. Fruit. The hotel was beautiful.
