Great place!

Liked: Great location. Good breakfast. Loved the omelettes. Not fancy, but really good. Clean and comfortable. Staff was great.
Disliked: The parking area was being worked on, so had to park across the street. Also, the work was right next to the pool, so used the one at sister property across the street.

Beautiful Room and close to...

Liked: The staff was amazing and very helpful. Our room was spectacular very clean and niceGreat customer service.
Disliked: We were in the bottom floor and were able to hear the people above us, it sounded like dragging stuff across the floor. On our 3rd night there were people above us but couldn't hear any noise then. They were willing to move us across the street . They were very helpful.

Not an bnb experience

Disliked: I was looking forward to a bed and breakfast experience and this was very far from that. The entire house has been shut down and the parking/breakfast/parking/lobby has been moved to a motel across the street. I’m happy to pay a premium to have a lovely home living room to enjoy coffee and a homemade muffin or a glass of wine in and I’m very disappointed to be drinking out of styrofoam cup across the street. The pensione is just a rental room like an airbnb at this point. Devoid of what I can only imagine once had so much charm. I’m very disappointed.

Liked: We enjoyed our stay. The location was great for walking everywhere. We had never been to Key west, we didn’t realize that Truman was such a busy street. The street noise was a disturbance during the night and early morning hours. The walls are thin and doors/windows not insulated well due to being an older home. The home was lovely though and so were all the grounds. Staff friendly and morning breakfast was nice. We enjoyed sitting on the upstairs balcony too and had front row seats to the Xmas parade.
