Beautiful hotel
Liked: Beautiful hotel, fantastic location down a quiet street but close to the center of Carmes, the river, and the capitol.

A nice break,but not without...
Liked: We didn't have breakfast or an evening meal the night before as the restaurant was closed.The spa was closed because it was a Monday when we arrived.Because the hotel is so well located we were a short walk to plenty of bars and restaurants, which meant that we had some enjoyment.
Disliked: Our son and daughter in law booked this hotel as a Xmas treat for us.The main reason being that a Spa was in the hotel, but it was not open because it was Monday.Perhaps if the closure of the Spa on certain days was made clear when the hotel is booked, they would of booked days when it was open.

Totally recommend
Liked: Great location, clean rooms, nice furniture. The stairs with the chandelier are just perfect!! Staff is very kind. We absolutely enjoyed our stay.

I wouldn't stay here again...
Liked: Nice beds and good bathroom
Disliked: The floor in our room was soaking wet by the bathroom We tried to have dinner in the brasserie but were sat there for 25 minutes after seating with no one offering us a drink or taking an order. We left and no one said a wordWe asked for a menu for the brasserie and we were told it was in our room - it wasn't, I called reception and was told to scan the qr code in the room - it wasn't on there either - bad attitude of staffWe were told we would be called when our room was ready and this didn't happenThe staff didn't care of do anything about any of the above when it was reported
