Value for money stay in...

Liked: The room was spotless and the bathroom felt new. The bed was comfortable and the WiFi was easy to access as the code was written on the wall by the light switch.
Disliked: There was little natural light in the room, which was a shame, but I hadn't traveled to sit in the room. The WiFi was okay but occasionally would drop out.

Really close to tourist areas

Liked: The location for tourism purposes is outstanding. The hotel is located really close to the park and with easy access to touristic neighborhoods. With great offer of restaurants, markets and coffees around it becomes really easy to find whatever is in need.Bed sheets were clean, as the the towels also - which were changed frequently. And water would be really hot if you wanted to. Also the room heat was good and could be managed from inside of the room, which was good.I never opened the closet, so there is not something I can evaluate.It is a simple place where you'll mostly go to sleep and shower. It is good enough for this purposes I think, being it's strongest highlight to be really close to tourist sights.
Disliked: The room had one small window that did not open, therefore there were no view or sense of weather/ clarity from outside. I would never now if it was cloudy or sunshine or even if the sun was alreay out or not. It was not good at all, but manageable.Another thing is that my room was located by the stairs and I could hear noise coming from the restaurant downstairs and the smell of food would enter the room nonstop. I would wake up in the night smelling shrimps, for example, all over the room. Maybe if your room is not on this floor you can be ok.One other thing was that my room had no cleaning on January 1st. I was out most of the day and upon my return at night there was no signs of cleaning, the bed was not made and the bathroom remained untouched. It was nothing major and does not mean it will happen to everyone, but I think it is something they can improve.

A pleasant room in a...

Liked: The hotel is right next to Ciudadela Park, which is very pretty to walk in, and only 5 minutes walk from the metro station (Arc de Triomf). The room was of a good size and nicely furnished. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was sizeable too. The place was very clean at all times, and the staff were very friendly. There was bottled water supplied every day. We loved the restaurant - the food was amazing and good value too. Their cod and cauliflower rice was delicious, and we loved their choice of pizzas too. The price of beer was cheaper than anywhere else we ate in Barcelona. We would certainly recommend the restaurant and the hotel.
Disliked: The only improvement that I would recomment would be a small fridge in the room.

Liked: the restaurant under the hotel is excellent. the locations is awesome, public transport available easily

Disliked: The fact that the wifi would constantly disconnect. The cost was very high for the quality of the hotel.

Liked: The staff was friendly and the shower in the room was amazing. Having a patio with some fresh air was very nice too
Disliked: The room felt very small and cramped. The TV didn't work in our room and the bed felt like it was sunken in the middle.
