Perfect stay…lovely house…nice staff

Liked: Great setting.
Disliked: We don't speak Spanish (or very little), and the hosts only spoke Spanish. No real welcome, nor assistance, nor thanks for visiting. Just a decent sized bill.We could hear absolutely everything in the room next door.

A nice weekend getaway

Liked: The room was clean, with big windows looking out to scenic views. The property has a lovely garden. Playa de Somo and its lively cafe scene are a short drive away. There is a nice restaurant nearby.
Disliked: The pillows. And a small fridge in the room would have been nice.

Perfect end to 3 months in Spain...

Liked: What did we like? Everything. It looked good on the website, but exceeded our expectations. The room was comfortable and very nicely designed, equipped and lit. The whole building was full of character and great use has been made of its original features and architecture. Due to our clinical vulnerability in respect of Covid19 we had asked to be able to have breakfast in our room or outside, either of which they were very happy to accommodate; in the event it was warm enough to eat outside, under cover, where we were served an excellent breakfast. It was good to be able to park our loaded campervan off-road within their own grounds - very reassuring. The grounds themselves were very pretty and it would have been lovely to spend more time there in better weather. There were several restaurants within easy walking distance; we had a good lunch at the nearest, the Bonobo Bar Restaurante, and two superb evening meals at the Restaurante Primera Vaca, just a few minutes further.
Disliked: There was really nothing not to like - we'd love to have stayed longer.
