Magnificent location to see Reims

Liked: Wonderful location and we had a magnificent view of the Reims Cathedral from our room.
Disliked: Dining room staff were aloof unlike the rest of the staff, especially the front office staff who were first class in every regard.

Liked: The balcony with the view is to die for. Incredible views and the location is perfect.

Disappointed by front office team

Disliked: We had opted to “pay at property”. We provided a credit card for guarantee but told the hotel on arrival we would be paying by debit card. They told us we could do so on the day of departure. On the day of departure we were told that they’d already processed the daily rate (excluding taxes and car parking) to the credit card without asking us, which we didn’t want! We have done this countless times at other Reims hotels with no problem - surely a guarantee card is just that! They should not automatically be processing payments! It was disappointing and we still haven’t seen the credit turn up so I guess we will have to go back to them as we’ve currently paid twice!

Liked: A modern hotel located right next to the stunning Reims Cathedral, easily accessible form the highwat=y. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was also very good.
Disliked: The fact that you can not access the hotel by car introduces a level of complexity. Hotel staff try to manage this by meeting in a nearby location to take your luggage and park your car.
