Wonderful Hotel. Terrible Restaurant!!

Liked: We loved the hotel and it's closeness to snowmobile trails. The hospitality staff at the front desk and the housekeeping staff were terrific and I will be clear here that my assessment of the staff above is only about the restaurant attached to the hotel. We have been to this hotel many times since it started catering to snowmobilers. We are actually the first couple who stayed with you to snowmobile. I know the restaurant is not part of the hotel, but the waitress we had that night gave terrible service and was exceptionally rude to us. We have always loved having dinner there in the evening after a day of snowmobiling in the beautiful Beauce region. Should you wish to ask me, I will give in great detail our experience at the restaurant last Tuesday evening March 6.
Disliked: The terrible service at the hotel on March 6 by a terrible waitress who was all by herself which we understood. However, seeing others who ordered after us get their orders first, having to waiting longer than a customer longer to acknowledge our presents, even longer to bring menus with the wine menu so that I to go ask her for it and taking 15 minutes to asked if we would like a drink, bringing us a bread board with olive oil and butter but no bread, asking for bread and still not getting it after two requests and having to go to bar to get bill after asking her 5 -10 minutes after we asked for it. She produced the electronic payment machine which asked for what tip I wanted. I asked her how to say I didn't want to tip her. She was not happy with me and after the receipt was produced by the machine, threw it at me. I have never experience at a restaurant in Quebec in our numerous visits to your wonderful province. That resIttaurant needs to clean up it's act!!!!! We will not be back. It was perfect and we are so sorry!!!
