It was good not great

Liked: Good location and staff were good
Disliked: Aircon wouldn’t turn off and dried out room. Bed not super comfortable and no safe or fridge in room. No coat hooks

Liked: The breakfast was great, the location is good and very quiet and the staff friendly
Disliked: Unfortunately during my stay the water boiler broke which led to not having hot water for a bit and they had to fix it overnight ( which caused some nuisance)

Liked: It was nice to stay in a 'proper' hotel. Breakfast was really good.
Disliked: Lift was not working so we had to use the stairs. A bit annoying. Also the hotel is a fair way out of the 'buzz' of the city.

Liked: The parking
Disliked: The hotel was hard to find because the exterior hotel sign wasn’t illuminated. The towels were old , the walls were thin and you could hear the noise next door, the bathroom door hinges needed oiling , no tea or coffee in the room .

Modern Hotel near the Old...

Liked: The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the beautiful old city of Montpellier or about 15 minutes walk from Gare St. Roch. You will need a taxi from Gare Sud de France or the navette to Place de France tram stop, then take the No1 tram to Leon Blum tram stop. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from there. The hotel is modern and clean with a helpful staff. The breakfast is adequate and of good quality.
Disliked: It was all very acceptable.

Liked: Location was good. Value for money. Clean.
Disliked: Lighting in the room, whilst ambient, wasn't great when trying to find things.Mattress was a bit lumpy and the memory foam pillows, whilst a luxury for some, were not comfortable for myself. I know that next time I'll bring my own.
