Liked: The breakfast was very nice, eggs cooked by our host Andre. Kurrajong House is all on one level which is handy when carrying suitcases.

Beautiful room with great warm...

Liked: Lovely house and great hosts. Brekky was well thought out and very good. Eggs were great. First time for a B&D for us, I think this will be hard to beat. Attention to detail, top notch.

Lovely location and place to...

Liked: Kurrajong House is located very high up on the Eastern side of Launceston and is set amongst some of the most magnificent early Australian houses in the city. Kurrajong house is itself a beautifully restored property and our hosts Andre and Linda have done a great job in setting up the rooms with furniture to match the era of the house. The location is close enough to walk into town, although the trek back up the hill is trying!We certainly enjoyed our 2 nights there and can't speak highly enough of our hosts who were very easy to get along with and gave us some great advice on things to do and see while in Launceston.

Very relaxing and comfortable!

Liked: Beautiful well cared for property. We stayed in the Adelaide Room and enjoyed our hot drink in the lovely winged chairs in the window bay. Linda and Andres are excellent hosts - very friendly and informative

A romantic bygone era

Liked: Beautiful home, lovely room, dreamy, comfortable 4 poster bed. Good shower, room warm, lots of spare linen. Quality room wine available to purchase.
