Liked: Such a great all round experience from the rooms to the castle itself.

Medieval magic.

Liked: We were there for a medieval wedding so the venue was spot on. The whole experience was amazing with games and events to suit the theme. If you visit Victoria it is a must.
Disliked: Nothing to say

Liked: This is really nice , friendly and comfortable stay . Staff very helpful and accommodating. Out of town . I could imagine it gets busy and noisier in busy times . We stayed in the week and it was very nice and peaceful. A great place for kids and events. If a mediaeval setting is your taste. Perfect .
Disliked: No issues , very nice stay .

Awesome core memory

Liked: The Tiny home-family was an awesome experience for us. We specifically enjoy the view from the outside with the houses and view overlooking Ballarat.

Lovely staff but very disappointing...

Liked: The staff were lovely!
Disliked: The bed was horribly uncomfortable - I stayed three nights and barely got any sleep - the mattress was rock solid and the pillow provided was almost paper thin and gave me a sore neck. The floors were also very dirty with rubbish hidden in corners. The walls were also paper thin, and I could hear others guests storing and talking like they were in the same room as me.

Great location but commander's quarter...

Liked: The location at the castle was great, having early access to some of the activities allowed us to leasurely spend the weekend at the castle.
Disliked: The Commanders Quarters where we stayed was very cramped to say the least. The fridge leaked water the night before, the shelf with the microwave was bent forward and dangerously leaning forward. The plates, bowls and cutleries were dirty. The walls were thin so you could hear your neightbours clearly and the bunk beds were not cleaned up.The free continental breakfast was great... if you arrived early enough to grab some of the pastries. they only served 15 or less per day and if you arrive 5min past 8am, they are gone. You are then left with cereals, toasts and dry muffins
