Liked: Beautiful well equipped room, quality food, well maintained gardens, and doggy towel and biscuits were a nice touch.
Disliked: Maybe more dining room ‘seasonal specials ’ / more choice. Wine list amazing, food list slightly more limited but enough variety to keep us happy. Breakfast a la carte service a little slow (>hour) but aside from long drunk cold coffee the continental selection kept us occupied.

Liked: Beautiful! We have been touring Great Britain from Australia and wanted a bit of rest and relaxation. This was the perfect spot, to have a break but to still take in the beauty of Loch Long and the surrounding area.

Liked: Didn’t like - Breakfast. Very average. Make yourself toast. Quality of bacon and sausage average. Presentation quite holiday inn ish. Evening meals super and high standard. Well served.Good staff - made the stay. Room gorgeous. Lovely building - just needs money spending to bring public rooms up to standard.
Disliked: Dining room. Lovely room completely spoilt by small heavy but modern squat tables. No table cloth even in evening. Just like a very moderate chain hotel. NO ambiance Sitting room - cold, horrible out of character furniture. Needed some magazines and paperbacks for residents to encourage swop system for travellers.
