I would LOVE to have my $$ back!! It was just that BAD!

Disliked: I HATED our stay! DIRTY ROOMS,food was on the floor of our room AND the eating area! I only continued to stay because ALL other hotels were full for event at the Alerus Center I needed to be at. I WON'T stay there again. I recommend ANYONE to stay ANYwhere else. Simple GOOD housekeeping would clear up the immediate problem. Gutting out the rooms would take care of the rest. I'm sure that WON'T EVER happen.

This is the worse motel...

Disliked: Very little hot water pressure in the sink. The shower sucked. The bed was very uncomfortable.

Disliked: The breakfast was disappointing. Looked like it was in need of restocking. No big plates for the waffels. Hardly any juice to choose. Cereal was almost gone. Barely bread or bagle to choose. No fresh fruit, just fruit cup and only a few there.

My first impression wasn’t good....

Liked: I like that it was close enough to the interstate after a long drive from Sioux Falls. It was nice to be able to come into a hotel right away.
Disliked: The property was very very old and was in serious need of repairs. The ceiling tiles were cracked in the hallway. Someone was burning an incense candle, probably to overcome the overall stench the permeated that wing of the hotel. My initial feeling was is that a robbery or a drug bust was about to happen at any moment Overcame this feeling time I’m pretty good at getting used to unpleasant things as far as my environment goes. But my first impression was this is not a good hotel.

Disliked: The carpet feels really gross to walk on without your shoes..

I had to clean and...

Disliked: I had to buy fly tape and an additional fly trap for our room after mistakenly opening the window for very necessary fresh air (our window didn't have a screen). I hung 5 rolls of fly tape in our room and more than 15 flies were caught on them. More were caught on the other fly trap. I also probably spent about an hour all together over our 3 night stay using a swatter to get rid of the flies the traps didn't get. I bought an air freshener for the room because of the stagnant, unclean, smell. The comforter and bedding were absolutely disgusting. We bought our own blanket and used minimal linens provided. The carpets were disgusting, the whole place smelled like marijuana and cigarettes. All the lights in our room flickered always when on and the room/hotel was not sanitary in any area.Affordable price, though!
