Pretty cool hotel. Beware the drinks and food stashed in your room ($$$$), it looks very delicious at 3am after a show. Bathroom was great. The added sewing kit was particularly useful for me. The doorman was a little rude to me when a porter was helping me make a phone call (I'm deaf). That was my only complaint.

Liked: Literally around the corner from House of Blues. Could safely walk to and from concert venue in the cold weather.
Disliked: Who are all of the guys standing around in suits? Porters? It was kind of weird. It had a mob feel in a way.

Billing nightmare.

Liked: It is well located and rooms are big.
Disliked: I had a really terrible experience, maybe the correct expression is billing nightmare. The first problem was that I received what seems to be a scam email, on booking platform, asking me for my credit card information in order to guarantee my reservation at Kinzie hotel. As it was a message through booking platform, I felt safe to give my credit card number, all on booking platform, and was inappropriately charged 520,62 dollars.As soon as I arrived in Chicago, after a 10 hours flight from Brazil, I tried to understand what the 520,62 dollars was about and the front desk attendant informed me that it was probably a scam, that Kinzie had nothing to do with it. As it was not enough, the front desk attendant also told me that I had to make another 500 hundred dollars deposit, for possible extra expenses, and that it would be returned to my account at the end of my stay. I found that attitude extremely abusive and rude.

Cute and clean

Liked: I loved the breakfast that was included, especially the waffle maker. Nice location, very easy to take the bus to Shedd Aquarium as well.
Disliked: There's only one vending machine for drinks and it's in the fitness lounge. There aren't any vending machines for snacks.
