Liked: Food was exceptional. Nice touches such as being able to order your dinner choices half an hour before you went to the dining room. Also having the wine decanted beforehand to let it breathe.In all, a slightly oldie world experience as things used to be that you don’t often see today.Oh yes, great shower!Well worth the slight detour off the A9 to experience something totally classy.

Would stay again for sure

Liked: Paul was very professional and super and the staff were exceptional . The food was good and the house a lovely position. The fire going as you walk in was super. Good wine list. Lovely hotel and will stay again.
Disliked: It could really do with some more new sheets etc.

Liked: Lovely building and location. Most staff friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Some basics missing and a rather boarding house feel. We had paid for breakfast, but didn’t have it, but were then charged for the coffee we ordered after the breakfast time was over. Very petty.

Liked: Lovely large bathroom and comfortable bed and good breakfast.
Disliked: No tea and coffee making facilities and fixed price dinner menu ( didn’t stay for dinner)
