Our room was lovely, and warm too. Quite a lot of steps up to the entrance which I found difficult. Breakfast was lovely, and well served.

Liked: Lovely big room. Good breakfast.
Disliked: Badly stored wine.

Liked: I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Kingston Theatre Hotel in Hull, and I couldn’t have been more impressed. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive—striking the perfect balance between professionalism and genuine hospitality.

Pleasant stay in a friendly...

Liked: Friendly welcome at reception. Upgraded to executive room due to a booking error which was nice. Room spacious and all I needed. Large bathroom, comfy bed and some nice touches with things for my dog and a pack of things like ear plugs, mask and stuff to spray on your pillow for a good night's sleep. Not sure it worked. Nice meal on my first evening.
Disliked: TV for some reason very erratic, wouldn't change channels, then went off for no apparent reason. No big deal. Room not too warm but did have facility to boost heating.

Elegant and Charming

Liked: The Kingston Theatre Hotel is the last bastion of elegance in Hull. It is beautifully clean and dignified, with excellent staff and wonderful food.
Disliked: Everything was amazing. We loved it.

Liked: Lovely welcoming helpful reception staffBrilliant location near all the main points of interest
Disliked: Hair dryer not working 2 of us staying but only 1 mini shampoo and shower gel.Carpets everywhere like an old people’s home.At breakfast butter on a little dish, would much prefer sealed containers for this and sauces in a tiny pot, cup & saucer like an old people’s home. Mugs much better.

Nice little hotel

Liked: A lovely hotel with a nice little bar and restaurant. Room was clean and tidy and bathroom was spacious. Old house charm. Perfect for our requirements.
Disliked: To be honest this hotel just worked well with our plans so I didn't dislike anything.
