Our room was lovely, and warm too. Quite a lot of steps up to the entrance which I found difficult. Breakfast was lovely, and well served.

Liked: Lovely big room. Good breakfast.
Disliked: Badly stored wine.

Decent hotel within a 10...

Liked: We were upgraded to a Junior suite and, although, it was a bigger room, the bed wasn't as big as we had expected. The bathroom was ok, but nothing special. The whole hotel, although clean, is looking a little tired...I wonder how much it has changed since the 1990s? The breakfast was fine - not much in the way of fresh fruit, but there were several choices of cooked breakfast, which was served to your table. It would have been nice to have a fish option on the menu, given that the hotel is in Hull! The coffee was not very good at all: just instant!!

Great location, comfy stay

Liked: Friendly staff; great breakfast; big room (got upgraded to the Victoria suite).
Disliked: A rather old fashioned feel to the hotel...
