We did not stay.

Liked: We didn’t like anything, we cancelled the stay
Disliked: There was trash everywhere outside. The rooms were tiny and smelled terrible. There was a sign at the check in that referred to extended stay needing to contact the DSS office. The rugs were filthy, and the outside area seemed unsafe to leave a vehicle. This appeared to be a boarding home not a motel.

Short and bad.

Disliked: We didn’t even stay the night, this motel shouldn’t even be listed. We got there, the road was nearly inaccessible due to the potholes blocking the entirety of some sections, and as soon as we got up to the location it was clear there was a large permanent resident population. We still checked in but were almost warned by staff to go right up to our room rather than back out to the car. After that when we got our stuff a resident’s child approached to ask if we “lived here now too” we got up to the room which was damp and smelled of piss and bleach. Some of the mirrors were one way. We were in there for maybe 10 minutes and opted to leave and drive the rest of the 3 hours to our friends home that night rather than sleeping there. The staff didn’t seem surprised that we checked out less than an hour after checking in, and in the car a little more research showed that this location is basically used by the state as housing for the homeless population, something very necessary, but which would have been nice to know sooner. I have stayed in worse rated motels for much longer, and better motels for less. You get what you pay for but the half used roll of toilet paper in our bathroom did not at all reflect the booking price.

Cost effective, if you are...

Liked: It was very cheap. The bed was very comfortable. It had a microwave and refrigerator, though I never used them so I can’t be sure they worked. Many rooms on the first floor, for much of the motel it was only one floor.
Disliked: No elevator. The room was very bare. The AC was underpowered and did not sufficiently cool the room. The television did not have a remote, so I could not use it. The neighborhood did not seem safe. When I left my room in the morning I could hear people yelling in another room. Seems like a “no-tell motel”.

Avoid unless you have no...

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: Less than minimal quality: Chemical smell. No cup (& no coffee in rm or lobby). No phone to contact front desk. No coat hanger. No place for soap/shampoo in shower for my room. No clock. Hotel has no ice maker. Filthy chair (I covered it w. bath towel). Dirty & ill fitting bed skirt. Poor TV reception on a good weather day; only 9 channels (Direct TV). Roof has scattered shingles added on top of old ones.Hotel has 3 bldgs with 2 & part of the main building used for long term tenants. Social Services are there every weekday to provides services per posting. Was a Rodeway, but unsurprisingly no longer. This hotel should not be in business. Needs a lot of repair. Only clean parts are the sheets & towels.
