Enjoyed our stay and would stay again, but would request that our room is not downstairs in the basement

Liked: Friendly staff; good breakfast; nice, clean room.
Disliked: Someone, possibly a hotel guest, opened a fire exit door at 6a.m. which set an alarm off right outside our room. Our room was in the basement so we didn't have a good view and the room was overlooked from the street above.

Liked: Good location for the seafront and a 20 minute walk to the pier. I was taken ill during my stay and needed the room serviced and bed linen changed. Room was cleaned well beyond my expectation, which I was grateful for.
Disliked: The full breakfast had been kept on a hot plate and didn't appear to be cooked from fresh. Pancakes were shop bought in a pack. Very bland.

Great rooms and views but...

Liked: The room was great,TV,bath,everything.The parking a little pricey, not sure how secure it is.The staff were great, very helpful and courteous.
Disliked: The bar should be away from foyer, should be set to the side, more secluded and discrete. Breakfast was disappointing.Toaster didn't work properly, no hot filter coffee, not enough selection on menu.Checking in at 1500hrs is too late.Checking in at 1200 hrs means you could make more money on the bar as people check in earlier may want a drink, also some guests may prefer lunch alicante, again an opportunity to make more profit.
