Rooms were of a very high standard and hotel was very central. Lovely hotel; very friendly staff; would recommend.

Amazing, will definitely go again!
Liked: The location was exceptional, right in the heart of Cirencester. Our room was incredible, the hotel have styled everything to combine modern and used all of the wonderful features of this old building. The welcome on reception was wonderful and the bar staff made great cocktails. Breakfast was also lovely.
Disliked: We stayed on a Saturday night, so be warned about noise from the street if you like the windows open!

Great. We had a great...
Liked: Very central. On a Main Street in the town but very quiet. We were spending a few days travelling around the Cotswolds so it was a great base for that. Lots of coffee shops and nice restaurants around.
Disliked: No parking. Hotel should stamp a parking ticket or cover the cost of the parking for the stay. It was a pain having to run out and find a space and put money on a ticket. It was a worry for us to make sure we were not late having to top up parking ticket.

Liked: The hotel was in a great location.
Disliked: We arrived, checked in, and immediately had to change rooms due to a strong, unpleasant odor in the original room.The second room we checked into had a defect in the bathroom’s wooden ledge, where a hole was present. Unfortunately, my valuable necklace and pendant slipped through the hole. I immediately called reception to report the issue, and a staff member came to the room, stood on the toilet seat to get a better look, and informed us that maintenance would be available in a couple of days to remove the ledge and attempt to recover my items.Later, we were informed that the ledge had been removed, but my necklace was not found, and there was nothing more they could do. I had to take the initiative to escalate the issue to hotel management, only to learn that the hotel was in "administration". I provided photos of the hole in the ledge, a picture of me wearing my necklace and pendant, and proof of purchase, including the cost.We are extremely disappointed with the management’s response: "Customers' possessions are the responsibility of the customer and not the hotel. Therefore, we consider this matter properly addressed."This is not how a hotel should operate!
