Very good

Liked: The location was good and the price was right.
Disliked: The room was tiny. The stairs were a bit cumbersome. There is not lift from the lobby. You have to go downstairs to take the lift up. The bathroom sink had a large crack.

A quirky and pleasant hotel...

Liked: Great location across from King’s Cross and it was easy to come and go. Bathroom was a decent size and fridge in room was useful.
Disliked: We booked a twin and the beds were made up as such, but right next to each other like a double bed. It would have been good to have had a slightly bigger space to properly separate the beds, but that’s really splitting hairs. It was a perfectly pleasant stay and I would absolutely stay again.

Disliked: Security deposit of £100 is excessive for the condition of the hotel.- the beds were tiny and uncomfortable (I fell out of the “single” bed, which was no bigger than a camp bed not once but twice)- the noise of other guests through the walls and ceilings was horrifically loud- there is a lift but if you’re hard of mobility it’s pointless because you have to go down and up stairs to get to it - the windows did not properly open so there was very little fresh air

Disliked: Firstly I had to pay £100 safety deposit which I’ve never had to do before I was not the only one who complained about this as I was only staying for 1 night, the room was clean but I could tell there at been a lot of refurbishment done to it as there was still many holes and paint was peeling off the walls

Liked: Location was perfect
Disliked: The photos was misleading was put in a room witch was a bit worn out and was very small and had construction work over the road we did get a good night kip in the end but for the money not great had better in London for far less

Liked: It was a clean room staff were good the only thing I don’t like is the deposit on the room you have to give which is £100 The shower in our room leaked down stairs below but the maintenance team came up straightaway to tell us

Disliked: We checked out really early and went to the front desk. Couldn't see anybody... After a few minutes a guy appeared. He had been sleeping on the desk and clearly was not alert. He struggled to wake up enough to understand us and kept trying to give us the key to a room (not ours!). Hardly a secure system
