Liked: Staff were really friendly and welcoming, breakfast was fantastic and really good value (was an extra cost but well worth it), nice spacious room and the bed was comfortable
Disliked: Decor was a bit tired and my room was quite dark. No hot water in the evening. Carpet was stained. For the price I think it could do with being updated and having plugs by the bed would have been helpful.

Liked: I had a comfortable bed and plenty of space in the room. It was great to be able to have a drink at the bar and sit by the cosy fire. The staff were all lovely.
Disliked: The one thing that could have been better was there was no hot water in the morning - although it had heated up by 10am.
