Very comfortable.

Liked: Bar, ambiance, staff, beer, food. All very good.
Disliked: They couldn't do breakfast a tad earlier so we could eat before work.Such a shame as we were looking for a regular place to stay for when we visit for a new work contract, a few miles away.

Disliked: Received an email at 22:45 saying check in closed at 22:00 and to ring to arrange check in, arrived at 23.00 rang the number no answer knocked and rang the doorbell no answer finally spotted 2 men behind the bar though the window got there attention and they refused to let me in the building and wouldn’t talk to me other than though the window from 10ft away. They left me Stranded in a small village with nowhere to go at 23:00 at night having to sleep in the car

Comfortable stay in quaint pub/hotel

Liked: Friendly hotel in the centre of Melrose within easy walking distance of the Abbey. Staff looked after us very well. We ate in the hotel & the food was excellent and reasonably priced. Would definitely stay here again.
Disliked: WiFi was a bit patchy & mobile signal isn't great..

Brilliant stay, with great food...

Liked: The hotel was in a great location. The room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was fantastic! Breakfast and Dinner were excellent. All the staff were lovely.
