Keep an eye on the...

Liked: Roof top pool, spa facilities next door, comfy bed.
Disliked: Dynamic pricing - booked a week in advance and the price dropped by £100 thereafter. Couldn’t get my money back. Was upgraded but the room still cost less than what I paid! Would not book again.Staff were unbothered on the phone, seemed like a fuss.Room very hot even with air con. Windows wouldn’t open.

Lovely place a little hidden...

Liked: Great location, we upgraded the room so had bathrobes and slippers, which was great for using the hot tub. It was such a lovely way to end the day in the infinity pool

Not good! If you have...

Disliked: I have stayed here before with my daughter and she absolutely loved it. The last time we stayed we were welcomed by staff and booked the pool (it was during Covid so booking was required). I booked again for her birthday as she had such a good time last time. However this time on arrival we were told that she is not allowed to use the pool! When I explained that she was last time we were told that the policy has always been the same and that children have never been allowed. Yet the last time we stayed there was absolutely no mention of this and in fact, we were encouraged to book the pool even though they were fully aware there was a child with us. A much younger child at the time. I received a message to let me know about her not being able to use the pool except this was sent less than 24 hours prior to arrival and I had missed the message as it was at the bottom of another very long message that had absolutely no mention of children not being allowed in the pool. Our room was upgraded for the inconvenience but in all honestly the room wasn’t much better than the smaller room. The bathtub had hairs in it from the last person that had stayed and had I been interested in the room with the bath in the bedroom, I would have booked that. We have a bath at home. We don’t have a pool. The only reason I booked this hotel was for the pool. We drove 2 hours to stay here and were unable to use it. My daughter was in tears as it was her birthday present and she wasn’t able to go in the pool which again is the only reason I booked in the first place. Very unhappy with this stay and definitely won’t be returning. If you’re travelling with children this isn’t the place for you! Waste of money and I would not recommend for family’s. We were told the policy is that way as they serve alcohol up there. Which seems like more of a health and safety issue to me, plus they had no issue with her going into the bar, which also sells alcohol!
