Liked: I dropped my passport in my room but I have checked out. I called the front desk staff Mr. Carlos. He enthusiastically helped me find my passport in the room. I am very appreciated

Liked: The style of the room is good
Disliked: The assistant we encountered at the check-in place was not nice. He made me uncomfortable in an obvious way. (We arrived at the hotel on Thanksgiving night)

Liked: The rooms very pretty, comfortable bed, bath tub, mostly friendly staff, very good location
Disliked: The sound isolation of the windows is very bad, you can hear the humming of the ventilation in many rooms (I requested a room change and especially the lower ones this was a problem, I am a light sleeper). At the time there were also protests going on outside which was very present in the rooms. Also there were problems with the heating, one night the heating was off in the whole house which was unacceptable.

Fine for a basic stay

Liked: Close to Union Square and various local eateries/diners. Hotel staff friendly and warm.
Disliked: Bathroom was a bit small, location of hotel being next to/near Tenderloin area which isn’t nice, soap dispenser didn’t work in bathroom, water filling station in lobby wasn’t working, wifi wouldn’t connect.
