Excellent mid-century modern boutique hotel...
Liked: Breakfast was excellent. Service great. Food very good.Hotel location is convenient and good location. Very clean and safe area. Very easy to navigate. The room was very clean and spacious and comfortable and quiet. The hotel is a very cute mid-century modern boutique hotel.Rooftop pool is fun. Beach chair access is super easy. Beach location is great. This hotel is a great option if you want a nice room, good service and a smaller, less chaotic hotel.
Disliked: The bathroom lights are bright and they might consider dimmers.

Nice for a one night...
Liked: Staff were very helpful in getting us taxis.
Disliked: Resort is more of a no frills hotel, with a diner style restaurant on first floor-fancy dining at a premium in penthouse.Room was clean and quiet with a refrigerator, but no microwave-a clothes rack with minimal space for hangars, and shelves rather than dressers. All adequate. Our only complaint was that the mattresses were too soft. We woulld recommend the Kimpton Shorebreak to friends staying in Ft. Lauderdale. Glad to have a nice place to stay for one night during school break week.

Worst experience we have ever...
Liked: Nothing!
Disliked: Upon entering the rooms, we were horrified to find that one of the beds was completely broken and unfit for use, the air conditioning was malfunctioning, and there were no towels. The second room also lacked towels, and there were issues with the air conditioning there as well.We immediately approached the front desk to report the numerous problems. The maintenance staff came to assess the situation and confirmed that these were significant issues, even documenting the situation and acknowledging that repairs might not be possible. The front desk staff informed us that the hotel was fully booked, leaving no option but to remain in the problematic rooms. After pressing for a solution, the front desk staff spoke with the manager, Ms. Harris, who claimed that there were no other rooms available and suggested we might have to sleep together in one bed. When I insisted on a refund for the rooms, particularly considering that we were forced to share beds with colleagues of both genders, Ms. Harris offered no resolution and even proposed relocating us to a much cheaper, lower-rated hotel at such a late hour, which was unacceptable.Furthermore, the conversation with Ms. Harris escalated when she asked a completely inappropriate question: "What is the nature of your relationship? Perhaps you could share a bed?" This question was not only deeply unprofessional but also disrespectful. The following morning, we faced further difficulties, including being given only four breakfast vouchers for six people. When we addressed this with the front desk, they claimed it was a mistake on their end and suggested we speak with Booking.com. After spending significant time and effort resolving this with Booking.com, we were eventually given the remaining two vouchers, but only just before our departure, leading to two of our group not being able to eat.
