Nice hotel, but super thin...

Liked: Hotel staff was nice and the lobby was beautiful, room was clean. Tub was great and that is the main reason we were there. So that was good.
Disliked: The walls were really thin and we could hear the people next door having sex. In fact them having sex made our bed move like they were doing it right next to us. Bed was really hard too

Liked: This hotel has a great central location, the design is fantastic, and the crew is excellent. Every single one of them made us feel welcome and comfortable - from check in to the check out process.

Don’t think I would stay...

Liked: First room smelled of cat urine. Ask to relocate, room dusty and chips in tub, wall and end tables. Just not what we expected for the price.
Disliked: Staff was friendly.

Standard Kimpton experience in central...

Liked: Good location, nice hotel renovation and comfortable lobby.
Disliked: Why the added $25/daily guest amenity fees? Very expensive valet parking.

A big disappointment

Liked: Good location. Breakfast vouchers. Coffee in lobby for guests. Soaking tub.
Disliked: The staff was mildly helpful. Had a bad experience with a next door hotel guest who kept waking us up yelling and cussing. Called front desk and then requested to move next day to a better room. They allowed us to move to a different room but offered no upgrades or services to make up for our rough night. We stayed in the hotel 7 years ago and then again 5 years ago. It’s showing some wear now in wall paper, paint, etc. The lobby used to be a place where you could sip a drink and hear live music. Not any more. The next door restaurant is only open for breakfast. The waiter was grumpy to put it nicely. We won’t be back.
