The Monaco Hotel is a great getaway spot, but it also serves as a great launch for your Downtown Seattle experience. The hotel is within walking distance to Pike Street Pier fun, and to lot's of shopping choices. We loved the friendly front desk staff, and the atmosphere of the hotel. This hotel has great "extras" - such as bicycle rentals, pet friendly, and an evening happy hour. The only disappointment we had was the Sazerac Restaurant attached to the hotel. We had lunch on Friday and breakfast on Saturday and were extremely disappointed at both meals. The service was marginal and the food was terrible. We won't eat there again until they do a total overhaul. Bottom line is stay at the Hotel Monaco but dine at another restaurant!

Parking and Breakfast is Extra...

Liked: it was clean. late checkout was great.
Disliked: the hotel had parking available, but I didn't know it was valet parking and it was going to be $75 extra. also same thing with breakfast, there was breakfast available at the hotel but it was also $75 extra. the coffee machine was not in our room, took forever for someone to bring it to us.

Nice Ambiance, Spacious Room but...

Liked: The Room is Spacious for 3 of us with 2 Queen Bed. The Staff in front desk very helpful.
Disliked: We stay at the hotel for 3 nights. The housekeeping doesn’t reach the standard of 4 star hotel. They forget to take out the trash from garbage for 2nd night, not sure whether they have clean others things or not. The last night is the worse, they don’t even do anything in the room, As you seen before leaving the room! We have reminded the reception for cleaning our room twice. And the housekeeping service is super slow, we need to wait “at least” 30 mins for asking anything sometimes an hours.
