Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Richard, New York, visiting Freedom Mortgage Pavilion Sun, 25 September 2022

Liked: Spacious rooms and bathroom; nice part of town.
Disliked: We roomed next to a bridal party who partied loudly until 5:00 a.m. and kept the whole floor awake. Security interrupted them once, but they quieted down only for 5 minutes.

Everything about this hotel was nice, clean and comfortable. Nice staff. Parking in the garage behind the building was a pain. Didn't check out the roof lounge but will next time.

Liked: Very nice; clean; comfortable.
Disliked: Pricey minibar.

The hotel needs some freshening...

Liked: Linens and bed were comfortable. Room was quiet.
Disliked: Too many dogs. I was lucky to have my room switched to a pet free floor. Anyone with pet allergies should be aware that a great number of people travel with their dogs and you may be next to a barking dog or have a room that dogs stayed in. Also the bathroom was really small

I would stay here again...

Liked: This hotel is fantastic! The location cannot be beat for touring the historic sites, museums and great restaurants/bars. Our room (2 queen beds) was so much more spacious than I expected which was a real delight since we had our two teenage kids with us. The lobby is also a lovely place to just hang out if you need some downtime from sightseeing. And the hotel restaurant has a great menu.
Disliked: Two of the four elevators were down during our stay so you had a wait a bit longer but it wasn't a big deal.

Great location and warm, friendly...

Liked: Location and staff were phenomenal!
Disliked: First room we got had dirty sheets (on a made bed), next room they moved us to was ok but yhe hotel is older and it shows... carpets are worn and nothing seems super clean.

Superb

Liked: The location is outstanding, with direct view on the Independence Hall. The interiors of the hotel are unique, truly a work of art.The staff is very kind and competent.
Disliked: Breakfast was slow and while formally included, it was in reality menu-based with an allowance which in our case did not cover for a standard breakfast. The valet service, though quite expensive, ends at 3pm regardless of the entrance time the day before, obliging you to rush back to the hotel if you were touring the city.
