Liked: The property was well maintained with a chic retro feel to it. I loved the location which was close to the French Quarter but still had enough distance from some of the daily and nightly partying.
Disliked: My only recommendation is hotel guests should be better informed regarding the need to use your hotel key in the elevator to select your floor. I love the security measure however there were several quests ( like me) who rode the elevator aimlessly not realizing I had to tap my key. Posting this information may alleviate some frustration.

Disliked: The design of the bathroom was not the best. Shower opening allowed water on the floor as a result of showering. Water pressure of the shower was very low. Room had a damp humid feel upon entering.

Disliked: I booked a room for a family of four with breakfast included. When checking out I was informed that there is a USD45 cap on a per room basis, which was not spelled out in the booking confirmation. Not only is it a laughably low cap for a family of 4, it shouldn't have been there in the first place unless displayed clearly when booking the room. The hotel management refused to reverse excess charges.
